I am not a fan of extreme rides and stuff, but when I was in the university (2006), it was part of our curriculum in Tourism and Travel Management to do an apprenticeship on a ship and do a Manila Tour. And part of the tour was Enchanted Kingdom. We were only 15 in our class, so we agreed to ride the Space Shuttle as soon as we arrived there. We were all excited before the ride started.

During the ride, I closed my eyes the whole time, didn’t scream, and I was holding my breath. It felt like I was about to be in an accident. After a minute, we were all crying, and we couldn’t go to another ride because we were ‘traumatised’. haha! We ended up riding the carousel instead until we went back to our hotel.

In 2013, my flatmates then in Dubai, took me to Dubai Festival City. I didn’t want to be a killjoy, so I agreed to try the Sling Shot. After that, I promised myself that I would never try any rides ever again.

During my trip to South Korea, I really wanted to try Bungee Jumping, but I stopped myself because I went there alone.

It is still one of my dreams to try skydiving; however, it is so expensive in Dubai so maybe in 3-4 years from now? haha!
