Dear Self,

You are now 29! One more year to go and you’re going to say goodbye to your 20s and say hello to the next chapter of your life. Time flies, huh?

I want to tell you that I am so proud of you for getting this far. You did great. There were bumps along the way but you managed to maneuver your life to the better. I am certain that you have now fully understood how life works.

You may be in Georgia or Armenia now when you are wishing that you could visit Bali, Indonesia before you turn 30 and see Ketut Liyer in person. But wherever you are now, I am pretty sure that you will have fun.

I know that you are now happy and content with what you have right now. You have been through a lot and it’s about time to just live the moment and do whatever you want to do. And don’t ever feel guilty about it.

As you promised yourself, you are going to say goodbye to your 20s and alone and say hello to your 30s alone, too but that doesn’t mean that you are and will be lonely.  I can see that you are not going to be in a relationship anytime soon since you haven’t met the person you think and feel who deserve your love, your effort and your time. But if you do, well, I will be so happy for you. But be cautious. I know you are but I just want to remind you that you should never forget all the lessons that you have learned. Don’t forget to love yourself first more than anything else. And NEVER forget to trust your intuition.

And congratulations on getting your South Korean visa!!! This is it!!! You are going to your favorite country in two months! I am so excited for you. You may be sad today because you are supposed to be with someone but it is okay. Life goes on, GK! I am sure you will enjoy Korea alone. Take this as a chance for you to travel solo—you’re going to tick off one on your #GKGoing30 list. Yay!

You may feel like you are stuck and not sure where to go but you will figure it out. Just cry it out and then stand back up and smile. You have been through way harder than what you are going through right now. You can do this!

You have your life ahead of you and you have 30 things to do before you turn 30 next year so make the most out of the days left in your 20s.
